About:

Fu'o is a gifted chemist from a distant region who spends a portion of her time in Magie Village, when her floating home, The Catfish is docked.  Initially lured to the crew with the promise of hefty paydays (and how!), she has stuck around for the opportunity to enhance her craft as a chemist in labs and workshops around the globe.  The Catfish gets around and Nina seems to know the most interesting artificers.  Fu'o can concoct a wide array of explosives and incendiaries effective against a variety of materials and defenses.  She catalogues her experiments diligently and shares with any who are interested in chemical study.  She's equally interested in incendiaries and preparations against them and takes care to use her destructive skills only when absolutely necessary.

. . . or for fireworks.  You should absolutely ask her about her fireworks.

Known around town for her fabulous mane and fashion sense, she doesn't hesitate to drop most (or all!) of her salary in the shops and salons in Magie Village before it's time to weigh anchor and set off for another adventure with Nina and the crew.

Like many with a Pyroar aspect, Fu'o has some fire magic abilities.  She cannot cast fire, but she is largely fireproof to natural or magical flames, and can exert some control over blazes once they've started.  She's not about to make a giant phoenix out of wildfire, but she can direct fires away from stored explosives or shelters.  Rumor also has it that she can communicate with her pet Pyroar, Pala.  Some even go so far to say that she can see through Pala's eyes when they are apart.  Fu'o doesn't discuss these rumors, preferring that her skills remain at least partly shrouded in mystery.
