Abilities:

      As the Edeia of Imagination, Alana can inspire and bring about incredible visions and ideas, from a child's daydream to an artists' many characters and worlds, to perhaps even an inventor coming up with news ways to create and innovate.  She can bring about vivid images and give grander and grander ideas depending on the recipients own thoughts.

      Alana is very chaotic though, bouncing around from one daydream to another idea, from world to world, And it is hard to make her stay still sometimes since she gets inspired very easily. You could be working on a character and suddenly your train of thought gets derailed to another story entirely.

      As for how her powers work, being in proximity to her is enough to inspire daydreams and budding ideas. When she focuses her attention, and powers, on the recipient, her powers intensify and the recipient can visualize more and more things as the ideas grow bigger and more complex.

      However it works a bit differently when it comes to people with varying levels of Aphantasia. She can't quite make the recipient see the ideas, but they can still get them on occasion. They just are unable to visualize this. Sometimes her powers just don't work.

      However, her abilities are not restricted to just the type of imagination most would label good. Sometimes, her powers can influence ones' intrusive or even sadistic thoughts. Of course this can help writers when coming up with plots or dangers to put characters or the world in, but if she targets the wrong powers or comes too close, her powers can influence those darker thoughts from people who would really do better without the boost. This is especially bad with people who ideate suicide. As such she takes special care to avoid people in case their thoughts take a darker turn.
