The Widow

Biography:

After getting tired of living in Louisiana, Emma decided to go to school in Hartford this time. She was content with the idea of just coexisting with mortals again, but it wasn't meant to be. Logan, her husband, followed her to the school. He wished to take Emma and travel to a new universe with her. 

Emma didn't want this. She knew that Logan wouldn't heed her wishes, though, knowing that his wishes to protect her from the world he hated would overshadow any of Emma's own wishes. Thus, Emma devised a plan. She was going to take out Logan before his schemes destroyed the fabric of everything she learned to love.

Emma recruited an immortal woman to help her with the task, offering up a copy of her key as well as well as special bullets as payment. Emma watched as the woman, Amber, took down her husband. Emma was slightly saddened that it had to come to this, but deep down she knew that this day would come. Emma isn't going to think too hard on it though, knowing that if she processes that her husband of millenia is gone, she will break down in tears.

After all this, she decides to take some time to herself. She opens a door, walks through, and no one knows where she went after. 

Goddess of Life:

Despite not hailing from this universe, Emma still holds power as the goddess of life. She can grow a pair of translucent wings as she wishes. In addition, she also heals quickly from any injury, so she is pointedly very difficult to kill. Emma also holds a skeleton key that is able to open a door that takes her to any location she's been to in the past (provided that the location still exists).

Draw With:

Logan (Tyrant): Emma and Logan were once lovers, but the years have drawn them to grow apart. Logan is still eternally devoted to his wife, and he wants to live with her in a universe where they both can be happy. The two attend university together now, acting like the perfect couple. They hold hands, go on café dates and picnics, but there's an undeniable rift between them now. Emma plans to end Logan's life before the year is out, deciding that she cannot go on any longer with this charade of theirs. The world has no need for tyrants like Logan, even if that tyrant is her husband.  

Amber (Eternal Witch): After meeting Amber for the first time, Emma immediately decides that she enjoys her. Emma also decides that this is going to be the person who helps her end Logan's existence. Amber is researching the cult that Logan heads, and she's also an immortal. It's a perfect match! Emma recruits Amber to help her, giving her a copy of her key as well as four special bullets as payment. Amber takes one of those bullets to face Logan, not because Emma told her to, but because it's personal. Emma watches as Amber seals her husband away. Emma believes that her husband is wholly dead, and she celebrates by taking Amber out for drinks.
