About
Smecher was first introduced as a cleric working under a criminal boss. He claims to be some sort of trickster, but there are more times he's the one getting tricked so who can say for sure. Behind the scenes, he studies various things to compensate for his weak constitution and difficulties in focusing. He may act thoughtless and too easygoing, but trust him to adapt to unexpected developments with marvelous finesse.
Since Smecher is thick-faced enough to seek praises from everyone he meets, people assume he has a high amount of confidence. In fact, the real Smecher has a certain neediness in him that he is unable to shake off. At the same time, he's adept in maintaining distance. Despite his contradictory nature, Smecher has a genuine desire to keep any atmosphere jubilant, whether it's by teasing his companions or by playing the role of the clown.
For a few months, he traveled with a motley crew of adventurers who call themselves Parmethenon. He is currently aboard Punarvasu, a ship that carries merchants desiring to engage in diplomatic trades with other realms.

He's the middle child of a family which has embraced a nomadic lifestyle. Difficult circumstances forced him to leave his family and become a lone wanderer.
Somewhere along the way, he found the path of a Peace Cleric.

Smecher admires Cid's strength. Like with everyone he meets that he thinks he can rely on, Smecher initially had a crush on them.
Smecher gets along with her. They have a comfortable sibling-like relationship, even bickering in the background at times.
Smecher jokingly calls Somer the group's uncle. While Smecher respects Somer, he also feels the need to look out after the congenial aasimar.
Smecher thinks she is mysterious but a little uptight. He developed a brief crush on her because she reminded him of a tiefling he knew.
