Ash Powell

Appearance: Ash is not shy at all, and will wear just about anything in his acts.  Especially the kind of clothing that has too many parts that could  easily catch aflame. The more outlandish and threatening, the better.  However when he is not 'on duty' Ash wears simple clothing, an  undershirt and suspenders along with very shiny shoes. He has a few burn  marks on his arms, and he has a lack of eye brow or other facial hair  on his head. Parts of his hair has fallen out making him slightly  balding, along with prematurely aging. As is pretty obvious, he has a  fondness for fire-and smokes.

Personality: Ash takes his line of work very seriously. He proud, and a little  stubborn. He's very much a con-man, and will act nice to everyone if he  sees he can get anything (whether money or not) out of them. It's  unknown when his kindness is pure or if he always is as selfish as he  appears. He's something of a pyromaniac.

History: Ash seems to be decedent from other traveling carnivals or circuses. As  his name suggests, he probably knows more about eating fire than he does  about math, writing, or reading. That doesn't mean he's unintelligent,  simply that it's not his passion. His great enthusiasm for his work  often made people think he was mad enough to be admitted into the  Asylum, but this was never the case. When the second world war broke  out, Ash went into hiding amongst the other freaks to avoid being  drafted into the ranks. Not that he would have, even though he's quite  healthy and fit, his pyromania makes him a menace to anything as  dangerous as warfare.
