Steve has been doing tv since he can remember! He's the host of everyones favourite gameshow (the name of this gameshow is irrelevant.)! he's sort of forgotten what the main point of it was, but he manages anyway! if anything, a variety of segments and games is a good thing! sometimes trivia! sometimes challenges! whatever! Steve hosts his show for his loyal audience as often as he can, even if they arent there to see it. unfortunatly, Steve has some competition. Only able to get his show on air during late nights when the stations arent being monitered, A news anchor, Marvin Magniloquent, always seems to be after the same timeslot to put his own show! Steve can't stand him, and the hatred he feels for this rival runs so deep that he can somehow remember having it before either of them existed.
Steve is quite the personality. He's very flashy and bombastic as you would expect a gameshow host to be, doing everything with a flourish or a witty remark (what qualifies as a witty remark for him is usually just an incomprehensible comment mind you, but he always seems to think they're pretty funny). Steve only really drops this demeanor during the latest parts of his show where his form begins to degrade and corrupt for unknown reasons. during these periods he is very, very quiet. Steve can get particularly nasty when getting aggressive with people, although the only one he has to be aggressive with is marvin, he keeps his showy attitude when insulting him, and he finds it very funny how angry this makes his rival.
- although he doesnt have legs at all, the space below his body being completely empty, he moves as if he did, his body never raises more off the ground than it would if he had legs.(also you'd be able to push him and he'd fall over lol)
- he's the only one in the studio he records in, nobody but him is ever there! ever!
- he's sure his show had a name at some point, but it's name escapes him every time he trys to remember
- the set he uses changes depedning on what the point of the show that night is, sometimes changing halfway through without mention.
- the hand-like tendrils behind him are what he uses as hands, but he still motions his arms as if it were his actual hands he was using
Marvin.
Marvin is Steves arch nemesis. he hates him! a lot! he thinks the news show he tries to play to the world is boring and horrible and has no entertainement value whatsoever! he generally has the same opinion of marvin himself, thinking of him as a washed up old paper bag of a person who wouldnt know good tv if it went up to him and punched him in the face.
