A character from my friend Destinee's Pokemon campaign. He's total fuckboy who has a crush on another character named Penny (he is totally not inspired by talon from inspector gadget, nope) and always annoys her, but she just ignores him. He will flirt with anyone and has a habit of lip-biting. Somebody get this man some water, he's too thirsty.
Tragic backstory time!!! His flirting is caused by his need for attention. His father had left as soon as he found out his girlfriend was pregnant and Talon’s mother went through postpartum depression a few weeks after he was born, with her continuing to show the symptoms even years after his birth. This greatly affected Talon, as his mother had heavily neglected him, and herself, in her depression. When he was 4, child protective services deemed her unfit to care for a child and took him away to place her within a mental institution, leaving him in the care of a foster home, where he did anything to gain his new foster family’s attention, hoping they would pay attention to him. But this family were quickly annoyed by his neediness and often pushed him away and locked him in his room when he got too whiny. Talon grew up needing constant attention, which eventually turned into him relentlessly flirting to get it. Because of the neglect he went through, he never really learned personal space or social queues and is often prone to stepping too far into other’s boundaries because of that. His Murkrow often sets him straight by pecking him when he gets overwhelming.
