For his athletic skill
S kittish and fretful from birth, Spiderleap is by far the most cautious member of StreamBurrows. Born as Spider, a loner alongside his brother Berry, his life was filled with constant worry. His only comfort was his brother and their friend Hazel.
One fateful day, a rogue named Red attacked Spider and his colony's burrow, killing his, Berry's and Hazel's parents. The three managed to escape, but were forced to fend for themselves for the forseeable future.
A few moons later, they were found by Deep Ravine, a much older and wiser rabbit, who took them in and raised them. They were the first rabbits to join Deep Ravine's group, StreamBurrows. Spider and the others took on new names to represent their new lives; as an apprentice of the burrow, Spider became Spiderpaw. He trained with his comrades and received the warrior name Spiderleap.
After Deep Ravine's death, Berrynose assumed leadership of SteamBurrows, making Spiderleap his first deputy.
