Reuben was born in El Paso, and lived with his parents and 4 siblings. They grew up pretty poor, and didn't do much besides school, church and home. When Rueben came out, his parents were not happy and kicked him out.
After a year or so, he made his way out west, where he met Stix, Audrey, and Levi. They helped him out a bunch and he ended up becoming the newest addition to their crew after being discharged from the Navy due to a disabling injury.
