History

Lucas is the eldest child of Baxter and Ember, he is six years older then his siblings. When he was quite young he had a really good childhood, got along with everyone and was pretty happy. He has a wonderful relationship with his siblings and would always babysit them, play with them and take care of them.

In his early teens, he struggles to come to terms with his sexulaity especially given how his parents react and start to treat him. He goes into a depression, which prompts his grandmother to send him to England with Des and Kit for the summer. The positive change makes all the difference, and it turns into a perminant thing. He remains in contact with his siblings and the rest of his family, but avoids talking to his parents unless its necessary.

Lucas becomes close friends with Tomás and they spend a lot of time together. By eighteen he realizes his feelings have changed, and the two of them begin a relationship despite the three year age difference. He loves him very much. The two of them eventually move in together, while Tomás is attending University and Lucas becomes a screenwriter.

He and Tomás eventually get engaged and plan to get married in Los Angeles.

For most of his life he has a popular Youtube channel called An American In: which details his escapades growing up, his troubles and places he's travelled too. Many of his friends and family have been guests on his show.

He hates being called Micheal, so for most of his childhood is lovingly referred to as Torch, a nickname given to him by Kit and Des. As he gets older, he prefers being called Lucas instead. Only his parents refuse to listen and still refer to him as Micheal.
