Personality: While her face can make her seem like she’s an angry soul, Pax is actually a peaceful being like her name suggests, she is very tolerant of a lot of things and has been known to step into the middle of a fight to try and stop it. She is also extremely protective of her son, Viggo and will do whatever she can to protect him, though is more often than not found cuddling him in a den every chance she can despite his protests.
History: Pax led a relatively calm life, her mother was a mrefu who had laid with a thera and produced her, from this she garnered quite a lot of attention from the herd, some looking at disgust at this creature who was clearly a carnivore while others simply ignored her existence. Her mother would often take her away from the herd to allow her some freedom from their suffocating old ways and instead taught the young tiga how to not let the hurtful words and looks get to her, that she was a blessing brought about by the gods as her mother thought she may never fall pregnant, two mates having left her already from being unable to produce a calf.
Pax took her mother’s teachings to heart and stayed with the herd as long as possible before she decided to head out on her own, she had to if she wanted to be rid of the looks from the elders. Along the way she met a brute, fell in love and tried her best to please him… though it seemed she was cursed with her mother’s poor conception genes as they tried for every one of her seasons to have their own cubs for nothing to come of it. She begged him to stay, to try just once more but he had enough as her next season came, leaving Pax behind in that den, all alone.
She didn’t even care as another came to her scent, she thought perhaps it was her mate coming back for her but it wasn’t. Still, her season was in full force, who was she to stop this brute, its not like anything would come of it. He left once her season had passed and Pax turned to travel. As the weeks flew by the feline began to realise that something was different, she felt strange as her head whipped around to her expanded stomach. It would seem that the male had succeeded in impregnating her, she had to find a den and settle down before this youngster was brought into the world.
It would be another month before Viggo was born, oh how she doted on him, she swore to protect him then and there as he was a gift from the gods, just like she had been.
Random facts: Pax means peace whilst Viggo means war, two opposites come together. Shadow and I wished to keep their theme the same the whole way through thus the opposite names.
