Francesca is the youngest of the three siblings that Sati adopted and later turned into his fledglings.  While as a human she often resented being the baby of the family she has grown to enjoy that status in her vampiric family to be to her benefit.  It probably helps that she has learned to sneak around their protectiveness if and when she desires to.

Like her sister, Francesca is also very charming but with less intent and more in a naturally sweet and innocent way.  She is mostly just concerned with having a nice time with people she enjoys being around.  She doesn't have the patience to be bogged down with anything too deep or serious and frequently tries to get her brother in particular to "lighten up".   She particularly likes a good party and loves giving gifts as much as she loves receiving them.

It must be said though that Francesca is not all sweetness and light.  She has a dark side, and not just in the way that she is able to manipulate shadows as one of her vampiric gifts.  Her family all turns a blind eye because none of them want to think that their sweet Francesca as anything different but there is certainly some evidence that people who have crossed her have met particularly gruesome ends.
