Jack is a protector of his forest and keeper of balances. He's a kind of ambassador for the humans who wish to hunt within and he's very strict about methods they can use and what they can hunt for. He believes it's okay to have a truce with the humans because he would rather they controlled the population and used the meat and pelts, to him it's useless as he is a vegitarian. Because of this though he's often brought silk, clothing, and weapons as a type of offering, stuff that would be difficult for him to make on his own. He's well liked and known as 'strict but fair'.
Unlike Bonnie he feels more civilized and he's always wearing clothing on his bottom half like humans do. Though more typically he is dressed in his full hunting gear, because he also fights against evil spirits or wild beasts that threaten the forest inhabitants.
