Calliope lives in a small, strange lab up the hill on Blytheset, where she works her experiments and studies strange science. Strudels who visit her for checkups report feeling strange for a few days, and then they'll develop mutations seemingly overnight.

Despite Calliope's strange inclinations and quirky personality, she does genuinely care about the health of her fellow Midveilers, and is the most reliable nurse in miles. Still, sometimes you can hear loud noises and bright flashes coming from her lab, and one can't help but wonder what's going on up there...
