Personality: When his rhododendron and opium addictions are met and he's normal, he comes off as the nice, fun, sweet type of person. You can hardly imagine that he can get highly aggressive and potentially violent, unbalanced individual when his addictions aren't satisfied. (Will add more later haha orz) His life began with the rhododendrons and ended with the rhododendrons but even after death, Let's go back where it all first started, when the strings of fate started to unravel.

TL;DR version (because I'm too lazy to type something fancier than usual //coughs)Basically, Cain was born to parents who grew rhododendrons and poppies while raising bees to specifically pollinate these flowers (especially the rhododendrons) so they can eventually make honey, thus creating the hallucinogenic honey. He has an older brother but he died before Cain committed suicide. Cain and his brother were fed hallucinogenic honey which was lightly powdered with opium powder (since their parents didn't want them to overdose) to calm them down so they wouldn't bother them. Of course because of this, both developed addictions this honey and opium. Both also had an obsession with these two flowers but Cain was slightly different though. He seemed to be particularly obsessed with it as he often snapped if anyone tried to hurt the rhododendrons in any way. As time passed, the rhododendrons caused trouble for neighbors, especially their pets that wandered in their yard and ingested parts of the rhododendron flowers. They filed complaints and it came to law enforcement's attention (can't remember what's the department that specializes in dealing with plants/flowers/agricultural ATM) to remove those rhododendrons. Of course, Cain loved them more than his own life and refused to do so which caused the law enforcement to take action. Knowing the law enforcement would arrive at one point to possibly arrest him, remove the rhododendrons, and find out he was in possession of opium, Cain chose to commit suicide to be with his beloved rhododendrons by setting his beloved garden on fire and chose to die in it.

Story: His fate was bound to the rhododendron as he soon he was born. Even though the rhododendron are considered to be beautiful but hidden underneath their beauty, there is something to be wary about. Ever since he could understand words, one word was engraved into his mind. Caution. It was caution they said. He never understood what there is to be cautious nor did he understand why it was dangerous to be around him. After all, there's nothing wrong with consuming honey made from the rhododendron (which was lightly powdered with opium powder). Besides the rhododendron was beautiful to him and he found great comfort when he went out into the back area of the house.

Relationships:

Abel Collins - His only sibiling and the only person he ever truly trusted and relied on. Abel always treated Cain with sweetness and gentleness which was something he never experienced with his own parents. Although Abel met certain death and his death was ruled as accidental, however, there was evidence that pointed otherwise. That Abel's death was no accident but a murder. After Abel's death, Cain became more reclusive as he had no one important in his life.

Asher - Cain's only "friend" when he was alive. The male was the weird but sociable type as people still liked him and socialized with him. He took particular interest in Cain as he noticed on how Cain was different. They met after Abel's death and when they entered high school together. He was quite the persistent guy as he wanted to know more about Cain, always hanging around Cain. Cain never understood why this male always followed him and pestered him but nevertheless, Cain allowed the male to stay by his side. Although after Cain's death, the male questioned himself and eventually committed suicide (several months to after a year later) because Cain was no longer alive and he just wanted to see how dying was like. (In other words, he committed suicide for fun = v = bb )

//leaves notes about Cain's friend here until I get him made as a black winged FMN//

  • adventurous, rash, risk taker (which is why he chose to commit suicide for fun)
  • sociable
  • fashionable
  • tried new things very often
  • often up to date with the trends

> Will continue to type story later because I'm lazy and tired plus I will make it better later HAHA //sweats <

If you guys are wondering how their parents are able to grow all of that without like law enforcement getting in the way, think of those houses in like cities where it's sorta old but the yards are extremely big and generally have a lot of trees or they just have those huge trees.

Rhododendron Toxicology (Taken from Wikipedia): Some species of rhododendron are poisonous to grazing animals because of a toxin called grayanotoxin in their pollen and nectar. People have been known to become ill from eating honey made by bees feeding on rhododendron and azalea flowers. It was recognized that honey resulting from these plants has a slightly hallucinogenic effect. by Pontic forces in 67 BC during the Third Mithridatic War. Later, it was recognized that honey resulting from these plants has a slightly hallucinogenic and laxative effect. The suspect rhododendrons are Rhododendron ponticum and Rhododendron luteum (formerly Azalea pontica), both found in northern Asia Minor. Rhododendron is extremely toxic to horses, with some animals dying within a few hours of ingesting the plant, although most horses tend to avoid it if they have access to good forage.
