Reshiram

A Vaiki from southern Maine, Reshiram grew up seeing the worst in the world. From fighting parents to uncaring authority figures to the struggles of the people around him, it was hard to ignore the truth he saw every day - A lot of the time, the world just kind of sucks. And god knows how hard it is to break away from that mindset when it's been driven into you since childhood. So rather than trying to deny it, he found other ways to cope - Namely, plunging himself headfirst into the worlds of games, ones much more beautiful, full of life and hope, than the dreary reality he found himself in every day. From Kirby to Zelda to Animal Crossing to Pikmin to Smash Bros, Nintendo managed to give him something to cling to even when nothing else seemed worth it - And no franchise helped him more than Pokémon, with its lively worlds and strange creatures who work together and help each other, despite their differences. After finally leaving Maine in hopes of a better life, Reshiram even changed his name in honor of a Pokémon he bears a striking resemblance to, with their shared fiery and white colors.

Despite his cynical views of the world, Reshiram wishes nothing more than to make others happy, and so goes out of his way to help those around him, from giving money to those begging on the street to simply breeding and cloning strong Pokémon to give away over Wonder Trade, expecting not even so much as a "thank you" in return. The world is miserable enough as it is, after all - If he can help make it just a little bit brighter, it's the least he can do.
