-Alurianat-

Tail Guardians hail from a world called Alurianat. Their world is very  large and very diverse, allowing for many different kinds of TGs and  personalities. Some have even made it to different worlds and lives.  Some regions of the world seem like they are from different periods of  time, and each culture is left as such.

-About-

Tail Guardians are a species that houses Lanterns upon the ends of their tails.
When they begin to mature they create, find, or are gifted a Lantern.
Soon a  a spirit chooses them and appears within their lantern as a little creature that stays with the Guardian for life.

Lanterns are very precious, and you can generally tell a lot about a guardian just by looking at their lantern.
Many Lanterns are basic, as they are easier to come by since their society covets them,
And the spirits can be picky. Its easier to go with a lantern style that  they know works for sure. (Some families force this out of fear).

The spirits are not always visible!
They can change their size depending on the will and strength of the TG.
And Lanterns CAN be taken off if wanted- though the spirit will need it to regain its strength.
If a Lantern is broken, the spirit vanishes forever.
Spirits and TGs can speak telepathically, even when a spirit isn’t seen.
Spirits can fly, but most prefer to ride more often than not.

TGs can go without clothing. Clothing is just a fun accessory .

Traits are still being discovered, and there are more spirits to be seen.
