Once upon a time, when the kingdom was still prosperous and young, when the first people of the nether ruled, when all magic hadn't left the mainrealm, a great war took place in the nether. A young warrior was left standing alone, bleeding and bruised, yet also gilded in decorations fit for only a king
The fool's gold timeline details Rhoo's (Mythril's) past right after the great war of his early years - Mythril has yet to grow into his peaceful ways, instead seeking valor and glory in the world beyond the red walls of hell he has fought for so long. Mythril is grieving, if not traumatized - but he's also deep in denial, unwilling to face how much losing everything has wounded him.
During the events of Fool's gold, Myth comes to terms with the fact that he's going to be alone, that he won't win every fight he takes up, that he isn't strong enough to protect everything he loves. This, while also spending a lot of time swinging a large axe around, swearing vengeance and war upon thee, and acting like a big shot all around. He will also go on a big fun adventure in a magical land with some new friends.
