About
Amelia is the kind of girl who honest to a fault but always has her friends' backs; she's very much a bedrock of a person to everyone she's close to. Always being the straight man (woman?) in her relationships it's often noted by many that it's odd she has a punk rock attitude about a lot of things. Sometimes a bit of a hothead, it's often at minor things and rarely at people minus the kind of people who piss her off. She was very much more rebellious when she was a teen but after a rocky early twenties she decided to go a bit more steady and found a job as fabrication welder in a machine shop. While she still holds onto the style of punk she certainly sees the world a bit more nuanced and maturely now. She's Virgil's step sister by marriage, Virgil's Dad met Amelia's Mother from his job as a diplomat; through both of them being divorced they fell in love and married when Virgil and Amelia where in their early teens. They got along alright mostly because Amelia was gone most of them time trying to run the punk band she was in. She currently has her own place and lives with her girlfriend Vera helping her at the restaurant in-between her job as a welder.
Appearance
Amelia loves the classic punk look: leather jackets, fishnets, big boots and plenty of piercings. She actually uses plastic piercings piercings for work an interesting reflection of her more responsible present and her rebellious past she still holds on to. She works out a little bit but her physique is mostly natural from her work and genetics and she usually shops at in the Men's department of stores since those fit her body better. While at work she enjoys just wearing a plain work jumpsuit to make cleanup easy after the day.

Backstory
Amelia was born to a couple out of wedlock; as the oldest she was brought up in a bit of a tough family. Her Dad was not a great man, a drunk who hardly held a job for very long and as such she grew up hating him and his violent outbursts. When she was bout 12 he eventually left leaving her Mom alone to raise her. She was a rather normal girl but had a deep resentment for most boys her age. She even liked most "standard' girly things for awhile, until around when her dada got very violent and she started to reject his authority thus starting her rebellious punk attitude. A couple years later her Mom met Virgil's Father and they married not long after. Amelia adjusted to the new home and family by simply avoiding it all; she started her band with some friends and they practiced a lot together but did petty crime a lot more. Lots of trouble in school and with the law made her well known but for the wrong reasons. When she finally was old enough she left home on bad terms, only really keeping in touch with Virgil sporadically. After trying to make it with her band traveling to various gigs around the country, she fell into semi-homelessness with her then girlfriend; by struggling even eating most nights she has some hard memories of this time. because of their bad luck with gigs and even having basic things her relationship deteriorated and ended when her girlfriend ended up cheating on her with another of the bandmates.
She broke off all contact with her band and moved to a new city; here she found a job posting in a temp agency at a metal fabrication shop. She only swept the floors and did other small tasks at first. Through her reliability and work ethic one of the welders took her under his wing and taught her how to weld. She found she had a knack for it and became a welder herself becoming one of the best in the shop. Through finally having a steady income she found an apartment above a brothel in town and eventually she befriended the owner Vera from living next to her above the brothel. Eventually they grew close and are now steady partners in crime and lovers.
Vera Deuvaux
Vera is the bubbly and generous owner of the French Aristocrat brothel and restaurant and had a spare room above the brothel she needed to rent out. A rather gruff yet honest Wolverine girl rented the room out and she eventually got to know her more. After helping her move in and get settled to her new place, they grew close and became good friends. After a drunken night of fun in Vera's apartment they decided to make it official and started properly dating soon after that night. Vera is an almost motherly figure to Amelia, her generous and caring nature contrasts most everyone she's had close to her in her life and is something Amelia found she craved.
Virgil Barkas
being a step brother was rather odd for Virgil, being an only child her had to get used to his new siblings and Mom. He resented not being the center of attention when he was young but grew out of it, coming to almost enjoy the time he spent with Amelia. Though these moments where short due to her propensity to skip school and come home extremely late or not at all, he and Amelia got along fairly well. After she left at 18, Virgil was the only person she would talk to regularly on the phone or through text. When they later reconnected through Virgil's travels they enjoyed the time they spent together catching up; Virgil spent the most time in one place he ever had since leaving home because of her and now regularly comes back to the town she lives in to visit for short periods.
