About
Vera Deuvaux never thought she'd be the owner of a bar/brothel when she was younger, but as it turned out she's very good at it. Having a naturally bubbly personality since she was little, her easy going and charismatic charm made her easily the most fallen-for girl when she was younger. However as a girls he was well-aware most of them only wanted her for her looks, and not one suitor actually asked her her own opinions or saw her as an equal. With a great business acumen and a sharp wit for jokes and come-backs she's the classic high beauty matched with high intelligence; that is until she met Amelie. Amelie was so down-to-earth and uninterested in her at first she thought it was fascinating which she sub-consciously made her more interested in her.
Appearance
As a tall girl, she naturally makes many men feel intimated around her. Her curves are also in proportion to her height and she is certainly curvy in all the right places. Tall, blonde and curvy is the three reasons so many men, and women, have come after her over the years. Her skin is naturally fair but she loves hanging out on the beach so much that her skin has bronzed very well. She keeps the right amount of makeup on at all times, never caked on but always enough to keep her looking great and sometimes she plays around with interesting colors to mix it up sometimes.

Backstory
Vera grew up in southern Louisiana near New Orleans and the French influences of the city touched her since she was a small child. Always fluent in French and English she's always used her charm to her advantage, but never maliciously to hurt people. As a kid her relationship with her brother Andre was normal in that they fought like young siblings but they soon began to enjoy each other as they grew older. Their mutual love of French culture was the start of their better relationship as they became teenagers. Andre moved away to study in France while Vera decided to stay in New Orleans; here she got more involved in the city's Mardi Gras celebrations and soon became a well known dancer in the parade but still could never find someone who actually loved her for her parts not bouncing around as she danced. As she grew into a young woman, she started work at a Bar called "The French Gentleman" as a waitress. She loved the place so much that she decided to start dancing in the Burlesque show they held every Friday and Saturday night and became quite popular.
After the owner took a liking to Vera, she decided to retire and hand off the business to the young Unicorn. She took to being the owner quickly and very well, always walking the floor as a hostess and sometimes on rare occasion still dancing in a Burlesque show or two. Her business acumen made the Bar flourish and several special nights she introduced gave more business over the entire week instead of just having weekend traffic. She also introduced a more LGBTQ friendly atmosphere attracting more clientele and making the space very queer inclusive. This is what brought in a short Wolverine who saw the ad for the extra room for rent upstairs from the bar when she saw the "LGBTQ friendly" part of the ad. The Wolverine was not really taken aback by Vera's beauty and her charms didn't seem to give her any advantage in the negotiation of rent. Vera found this very odd and actually developed a soft spot for the Wolverine and she eventually found out the Wolverine's name was Amelie. The two of them eventually confessed their mutual feelings and started dating, and are now inseparable when they're not working.
