When you are raised among the forest you become no stranger to the plethora of beasts that call it home, or the travellers who pass through it. Gwynvalis, raised in a quiet town tucked away between plantlife, grew up understanding the threats the forest held. She could recall the many times the town was almost swarmed by beasts - and were pushed back by those who acted as guards and defenders. Growing up fast was something she had to do in order to survive. She followed under the tutilage of those from the guards and hunting parties who could spare her time, and found her calling with the bow and later as a ranger.

There can be no hesitance in the face of danger, or else things can go south quickly. That is the thought that carries the most weight on Gwynvalis' shouders, and one she has learned to live by over the years. Her lack of delay should never be mistaken for poor planning though; she takes time before the fray to ensure she has a plan and is prepared to face whatever threat looms near. With a watchful eye and a keen ear she'll spend time learning all she needs to know, and watching out for the smallest details she can exploit in battle.
Outside of the face of conflict, lingering in the company of others, Gywn is similarly watchful of other individuals. Typically keeping out of the way in places like inns and markets, she keeps an ear out for any information that may be useful to her in the future — whether it's simple discussion of town rumours, or hushed conversations about things that haunt the area. While not socially inept, she is at times too formal for her own good and often finds struggle in trying to learn whatever new slang is popular in some circles. While she does make her best attempts to learn it, she does at time find herself misusing informal phrases (to some people's amusement, and other's embarassment.) While typically neutral on most matters — sometimes leaning into apathy — she can, at times, find herself caring more for one side of a cause than the other.
In some sense of the word, Gwynvalis is a perfectionist. When it comes to the things she owns, she always ensures their quality and state is nothing less than the standards she needs — right down to the organisation of the coin she carries. At least twice a day she checks her belongings, and when procuring new items she quality assures them first just for peace of mind. In battle, if something goes horribly wrong and ruins any of the several plans she organises to be safe — Well, she'll be nothing less than bitter.
