Jin
Jin is local glassblower that works to perfect his craft between days of surfing.
Jin is a friendly but determined man. He enjoys meeting up with new people and surfing together for an afternoon. He does not form close connections, instead enjoying just getting a small taste of many different experiences. The only thing he really wants to explore deeply is his surfing and glassblowing.

Background
Raised in Hilo by two somewhat absent parents, Jin had a rather pleasant childhood. When he was five his brother was born. Though the two were close Jin did not spend as much time with his brother as he could have. He wanted to spend his day outside exploring the waters and the mysteries of their home.
When Jin was only 17 his parents both vanished. No one knows where they went but it seemed clear that the pair had abandoned their son to raise their other son. Jin dropped out of high school in his senior year in order to get a job. He made friends with some local glass blowers in a small shopping area and soon was helping to clean the shop and take payments. After six months his boss began to teach him how to blow glass and make both trinkets and vases.
In his spare time, Jin surfs, still finding the time to explore the world around him. His younger brother successfully graduated high school and is now off on the mainland pursuing his own goals and dreams. Jin spends his days making pieces of glass art that show how much he loves his home.
