Appearance:
A towering figure on par with Pern's coveted golds, Ekin typically comes across as a rather striking sight. At eyelevel, all a human would be able to glimpse would be four brassy feet, and perhaps an evergreen tail. Yet following his legs upwards would reveal a dusting of cream upon his chest, even as his haunches take on a slightly deeper hue. Rich evergreen is his mantle, a color which dominates his head and neck, to coat his back, spreading out across his dorsal wingsails, before painting his tail in much the same. Where sandy hues turn to lush viridian, the colors blend together like stripes of flickering flame, windswept fire amidst smoke and shadow. Bar his face, where the shift is a gentle gradient upon his cheeks, paired with cream arches above his eyes, with brass underlining.

In build, the bronze is somewhat lean, not quite so stocky as many of his kin. Perhaps more comparable to a race-runner, than any sort of heavyset draybeast. Long limbed and streamlined, with a deep chest and lithe muscle. His wings, of the broad sort common to hunting wherries, lend themselves well to hours aloft. A boon to his endurance, and allowing for rather impressive swoops. Though any truly nimble maneuvers are well beyond his capabilities, his agility leaving something to be desired.

• Shared curiosity and Insatiable appetite to learn - Ekinth is a good student, he finds things easy to comprehend and pick up once explained to him. Beyond that he enjoys finding new things to learn about and has no bias against any information he gets, from weyrlingmaster, wingrider, drudge, old wher, or firelizard.
• Eager to explore and adventure - While being on the ground has its perks of seeing things and learning, Ekinth values the pair's ability to move about Pern on their own whims. There is an anxious impatience that comes with being grounded. What use are wings if he isn't allowed to use them! That is just a tease. More inclined to utilize his wings and size to get places rather than between when its an available option.
• Polite until a point - He will always be polite, up until the point he is not. When it comes to discomfort, distress, or respect owed towards Keoki, he throws pleasantries to the wind.
• Always in Keoki's corner - There is an unfaltering loyalty to Keoki. While he may not always be a yes man in her corner, he will always have her back. Ekinth would move pern for Keoki and strives to give her whatever support she needs.
• Readily speaks their mind - Ekinth has a filter, it isn't as if he will go and retell his and Keoki's secrets, but he doesn't bite his tongue when it comes to something impassioning him, or that he thinks would benefit or prompt benefits for the pair of them.
• Comfortable in social situations - Talking with others comes naturally to Ekinth. It is coupled with much of his personality making him rather genuine and eager to understand those around him. While he will be mindful of hierarchy and how he should behave, he also doesn't let it hinder him from interacting with anyone.
• Vibrant emotions - Ekinth is chipper by default personality, but it doesn't take much for him to dip into other emotions. A slightly short fuse that will lead him into being borderline melodramatic.
• Doesn't hold grudges - His emotions burn brightly but not for long. He doesn't hold his emotional flares against anyone, and even in a heated moment he will calm easily under Keoki's request.
• Caring - He cares for others deeply, but it is a double edged sword for him when he becomes blind to the faults of those close to him.
• Jealous - As his size starts to hinder him from being attached to Keoki whenever he wants, he will have some envy of the firelizards, and even the smaller dragons who may stay with their riders.
• Future - There is no preference in mind for Ekinth what they end up doing for the Weyr, but he has an underlying want for them to have some sort of role of responsibility. For him it is neither due to his hide color or the power, but more the fact they may be able to help others in such a position.
