Summary

Born in Seattle, Ori grew up alongside his brother, Rwolo, and all his nerdy interests, from games to anime to voice synthesizers everything in between. He developed a particular interest in older nerd stuff in his childhood - NES games, old anime, anything he considered retro. And with his natural creativity, it was only a matter of time before Ori made use of his skills to start making tributes to these things he loved, first with Mario Paint Composer, then with Vocaloids, and even a Midi Fighter that Rwolo bought him for his birthday one year.

Eventually, Ori's music spread to the ears of a singer with an interest in Vocaloids in a Chicago-based band. Not long after, he was contracted by the group, and asked if he'd be interested in contributing to their work as a member of their band. Though he hesitated at first, he quickly realized this was a perfect opportunity to put himself out there - And with some encouragement from his brother, he soon found himself having become a key member of the group with his signature electronic style, and an important friend to his bandmates as well.

Trivia

  • Ori is arachnopobic. Despite this, his favorite Don't Starve character is Webber, much to Rwolo's confusion.
  • His favorite band is I Fight Dragons, who he admires for their unique, chiptune-based style.
  • Gay as heck, like his brother. Must run in the family.
  • Ori's profile was completed on April 8, 2019, a few hours after the announcement of beloved musician and Vocaloid producer Wowaka's passing. On behalf of myself and Ori, thank you for everything. One more time.
