at night he undergoes a transformation in which he grows massive wings and becomes far more animalistic, even "cryptid-like", communicating only in a series of chirps and clicks. his pink appendages and eyes glow, and its very likely his flying above remote desert towns in this state is responsible for many reported sightings of strange lights in the sky at night.
