⇀ Description

Lance stands a little under six feet tall with his pristine posture that he always holds. His hair seems to be somewhere between wavy and curly and is nearly black in color. His hairline is a tad high and isn't particularly thick, but his family's men don't typically have bad hair loss. His brows are naturally clean and full with an arched shape. A slanted scar over his left eye is quite prominent. He has fading sideburns and prominent cheekbones. He has rather full lips and nose slightly smaller than average. His eyes are hooded and often half-lidded. They are a medium, cold grey in color and often violent in character. He has a clear complexion save for his scar. His skin is rather pale in the winter but tans greatly in the summer.

Lance's muscles are well-defined due to years of non-stop combat practice. His collarbones are quite prominent. Scarring is apparent on most parts of his body, one of the most prominent being the slash on his right side just a bit above the bottom of his ribs. His chest is void of hair and checkered with small scars of various ages, most of them old. He does have a six-pack and is rather proud of such. His legs are well-toned if not slightly effeminate. He has small feet. Lance's skin is slightly resistant to bruising, so he has less of those than one might expect.

He holds himself with his shoulders slightly back, hands often in his pockets. This makes him come across as important and of power but also relaxed. It's something he perfected over the years. This confidence helps him come across as quite attractive to many.

⇀ Aesthetic

To give a solid idea of Lance's aesthetic, he's constantly wearing dark clothes, fingers tracing scars he's practically forgotten are there. He's often got scraps of yellowed parchment in his pockets- notes to himself he'll forget to read. He keeps a single plant on his desk. It's a gift from his sister that she gave him long ago. He's a compilation of the sound of swords clanging and the tension of strained muscles that come with sparring, the veiny eyelids and raspy voice that come with sleepless nights, and the feeling of a purely adrenal high. He's a bit grungy.

To give you an idea of his aesthetic in a more abstract way, here are some things that remind me of Lance: Crumpled up papers, spilled and splattered inks, golden coat buttons, black coffee, sharp inhalations, bloody knuckles, dark under-eyes, sharp teeth, parted lips, smoke, empty bottles and glasses. As a side note, though I did mention the scent of smoke, he doesn't smoke or use any substances. He abused alcohol when he was around eighteen years old, but he quit and never picked it back up until nearly a decade later. After that, he got into hard drugs, but that's another story.
