Though this never-ending trudge through this world goes on, though my skin scars with hideous reminders of my journey, she still loves me. She may not hold the memories of our firsts - but I do. I remember it all. The memories etched into my heart, the only scars I will ever look upon fondly. Her smile, her warmth, her laugh, her farewells.

Should my ankles break, my knees buckle, my heart give out, should my skin run out of lines for these scars to be written on - she will still love me. Let my body die and my soul along with it, for meeting her will let my heart live. That will be enough for me. Her love is my life. It is my everything. What could possibly be worth more than that?
