appearance

• very tall (6ft4/194 cm) with a delicate frame; he has some muscle definition but it's not very visible. lean with a small waist and long, elegant legs. he has a little bit of a complex about his height, but he tries to not let it affect his posture although it sometimes is evident he wishes he was just a little bit shorter.
• soft, slightly layered chin-length light brown hair parted to the side. light skin with yellow undertones that tans a little in the summer. he takes great care of his appearance, which is evident as both hair and skin is super soft!
• big, almond-shaped brown eyes with dark lashes and fairly straight eyebrows. tall nose bridge with the tip of his nose slightly turned upwards. lips are on the pouty side, and his face shape is oval with a slim jaw and slightly square-ish chin. his features overall are delicate and he's very much a stereotypical "pretty boy", something furthered by all the work he puts into his overall appearance. wears some makeup but keeps it very natural; bb cream, eyebrow gel and tinted lip balm are staples in his routine.
• has a beauty mark on his right (our left) cheek. might be hiding a piercing somewhere....?
• he prefers soft or neutral colours for his clothes such as cream, blue, dusty pink, grey and black. he likes button-up shirts, soft sweaters, turtlenecks and fitted pants that accentuate his long legs. he likes to accessorize with a few items but overall he prefers dressing chic and simple over grabbing too much attention. for outerwear he likes coats (or stealing yoji's huge parka now and then), and for shoes he usually opts for plain white trainers, loafers, or boots during wintertime. he's definitely fashion conscious even if he doesn't stand out too much. he doesn't gravitate towards revealing clothing but he likes showing small sections of skin (such as collarbones, back, waist or ankles) in otherwise covering outfits.
• his overall presence is very soft and comfortable; his body language and gestures are careful and gentle. he has a velvety, mid-range voice that's very comfortable to listen to.

personality

• gentle emilien's entire presence is extremely comfortable and his overall mannerisms are very non-threatening, meaning he's often regarded as a very sweet boy.
• caring he always does the most to ensure that everyone's having a good time and gets very upset if something's wrong - he's always quick to try to fix any issues and provide support for his friends.
• attentive he's very alert to his surroundings and notices small details, which is often evident in him complimenting friends on small things.
• social he likes being around others and gets upset fast if he feels lonely. while not the most aggressively outgoing person, he is not half bad at making friends as his overall sweet demeanor makes him fairly easy to go along with.
• pushover as mentioned above, emilien is anything but confrontational. he'd much rather take the blame for things or go along with things he's not fond of if it means keeping the peace, which some people know to take advantage of.
• self-pitying while emilien knows very well it's his own fault that he doesn't stand up for himself more, that doesn't keep him from pitying himself and condemning those who take advantage of him. he knows very well it could be prevented but has a tendency to not deal with the actual issue, but rather stay bitter about it in secrecy.
• needy would rather be caught dead than admitting to this, but he revels in people complimenting him and giving him their undivided attention. he's not near aggressive enough to demand it, but rather relies on his looks and likeable attitude to get people to notice and compliment him. if he feels he's being taken for granted and not shown appropriate amounts of affection, he'll often distance himself, or if it's with close friends he's comfortable around, he'll not-so-subtly fish for compliments and attention. on the other hand, he tends to be very drawn to and affectionate towards people who do give him significant amounts of care and attention.
• secretive he deeply hates the concept of him being a bother to anyone, which leads to him being very secretive about his honest emotions as long as they're remotely negative. his always-smiling attitude and overly patient attitude isn't all an act, but it is very much a deliberate effort on his part to present himself as as likeable as possible. due to this, emilien has few relationships that he can truly consider a deep bond as he stays so guarded about anything that might be an inconvenience to others.

• he's very active in his college's tennis club, as it's been a hobby of his since middle school. he's a highly skilled player but has no ambitions of becoming a professional
• his first language is french, but also speaks english well. he understands some cantonese but can't speak it much
• he can't stand bitter foods and drinks; he can't for the life of him stomach beer or coffee. he does however love iced chai latte
• he's very drawn to confident people with strong presences - he finds it both admirable and attractive ,':^)
• he dreams of becoming a dad in the future
• his skincare routine is extensive, he sees it as his way to wind down and take care of himself at the end of a long day
• he prefers his living/work space to be tidy and spacious
