Redthorn is a large, fiery-red rosetted tom-cat with piercing amber eyes and a dark-red mohawk ruff starting at his head and ending at his rump. Redthorn sports notable dark-thorn earrings, and has a signature 'x' scar between his eyes.

Redthorn is a fighter, a warrior at heart, but one that struggles with his own self-image and attractions. It's easier to fight than it is to think, easier to growl than it is to smile, but that doesn't mean the fiery red tom is devoid of kindness. A heart of gold rests beneath that thorny exterior.
+ Redthorn is a dedicated, honest, passionate, faithful and intelligent tom. Redthorn's respect is something that is earned, but once achieved, he is an unwavering source of support for those in need. A hard worker, he's not one to sit by idly when work is to be done.
- Despite being a helpful cat, Redthorn can come across as very intense and dominating given his naturally outspoken and aggressive nature. First and foremost, he wishes to protect those he cares about- and is not afraid to bare fangs or sling claws to achieve that. He is also painfully stubborn, and it's near impossible to change his mind once it's been made up.
X Redthorn's worst side comes in his blunt, fiery and vulgar attitude- in where he is not ashamed to speak his mind regardless of what it may sound like. He is also inwardly insecure, which is not readably observed, but does lead to him distancing himself from others out of fear.

Red remembers a hazy image of someone, maybe that was his mother? father? There is a feeling of warm bodies pressed against his own. There is the soft sound of laughter that is not his own- warm and hearty.
Teenage years

Red remembers a furious fight, a struggle, claws and teeth- and searing hot pain radiating through his face.
Present
Upon waking up, Red's head throbs furiously- but despite many attempts, the memories refuse to surface. There is only a scar, a pair of earrings, and vague hazy visions- but were they memories or lingering thoughts from dreams? Redthorn knows he has a family out there somewhere, knows that there is someone who knows him more than he does- and he wants to find them. A fire is lit under his paws, but he remains in the grove for now- it is safe here...and there are others like him. Maybe...maybe they could help him?
