Kajiwara is a kind and compassionate person. He’s always willing to help others and puts them above his own needs. He’s an introvert -- prefers to keep his own company if needed -- although, he’s usually since in the company of his friends. He’s shy towards people he doesn’t know but tries to go out of his comfort zone. His friends often tease him that his shy demeanor is what gets the attention of all the girls. Many girls at their school do find him to be charming and cool.

Despite his charm and personality, Kajiwara is very intelligent. He’s always reading when he’s got the time. He’s also very articulate, preferring to use a better and well-rounded vocabulary. He does get embarrassed and flustered if people or someone call him out on it but to him these words exist, so why not use them.

Kajiwara is always seen in the company of his friends. He treasures them and their companionship above everything else. He’s also very awkward around girls and tends to brush them off. All in all, he’s a good guy and will act before thinking more times than not. Despite his rationale to not do that at all. He’s awkward around people he’s not familiar with but is less inclined to try and go outside his comfort zone.

History

Kajiwara Noburo was born in Tokyo, Japan. He was raised by both his parents and lived a pretty normal childhood until he got into high school. Throughout most of his youth, his peers and friends often teased him for being a bookworm. Not anti-social, just has a hard time talking to people and socializing. Overthinking every encounter and preferring to shy away from them if he was able to. His first friend was Kazetani Tokimune, then he met Koga Matsudaira and Kozuke Yugoro shortly after. Making a long lasting friendship with his companions.

When he got into high school, things started to change a little. He started having bizarre dreams. These dreams had someone who looked like him and a group of knights and female guardians. He was plagued with these dreams for a while until he told his friends. He realized then that they were having the same bizarre dreams as well. He tried to make sense of them as their frequency increased as did the meaning of the dreams. The more they happened, the more he saw. It felt so real and like he had been to this surreal kingdom he had been dreaming of.

One day, while he was at school, something made the world around him stop. Everything was frozen in time and a knight appeared before him. All that the knight said was “find me” and everything went back to normal. He was shaken by what happened and tried to brush it off. On his way home, later that day, he encountered a peculiar dog. It looked like it was lost, trying to find its owner. So Kajiwara took it home with him, to see if his parents could help him look after it. However, as he was about to enter his home, the dog spoke. After the momentary freaking out over a talking animal, the dog continued by saying it was Kajiwara’s duty to summon the Starlit Guardians. Being entirely confused by the idea, he didn’t even know where to start. Until the dog gave him told him he could do so by using his necklace -- a gift he received from his parents with a special stone in it. Still unsure how it would work, the dog -- named Boreas -- told him to try using it on his friends. Kajiwara having explained that he, and his friends, were having weird dreams however, Boreas didn’t seem bothered by that revelation. So the next day at school, he showed them the stone and told them about Boreas. Something told him how to use the stone and he followed the instructions his “feeling” gave to him. All four of the friends turned into knights at that moment. Kajiwara believed what Shiro suggested to him and opted to listen to him again.

Boreas helped the boys realize their strength and power. However, he pressed that Kajiwara’s first duty was to find Princess Titania and reunite the Starlit Guardians. Although, Kajiwara wasn’t too sure how to go about that. He didn’t know what the Guardians looked like aside from the blurry images he had of them in his dreams. Boreas suggested letting his necklace guide him as it knows the powers of the Starlit Guardians. Wary at the idea, he and his friends tried to look out for them. This led to Kajiwara meeting Fubuki Doujima. He was quite taken by her until he started seeing her face in his dreams. She was calling a name that wasn’t his but felt familiar. After asking her if she was a Starlit Guardian, he realized she was Princess Titania -- at least the current reincarnation of her. He asked for help to find the other Guardians and assisted her where he was able to.

As Kajiwara started remembering his past life and gathering those that were in that life, another group was already moving to act. This group was the remnants of the Dark Kingdom. A fraction of Queen Metalia’s power remained since her encounter with the Sailor Guardians and she was intent on revenge. She created powerful subordinates to do her bidding -- seeming more useful than darkening the hearts of individuals. This group was feeding off the power from the remnant of the Ice Kingdom -- part that Kajiwara and his friends were searching for. Sensing that the power of these individuals seemed familiar, Kajiwara grew suspicious about the events that led to the Ice Kingdom’s fall. He tried to summon the knight that had given him his powers but to no avail. Instead, he heard the knight’s voice calling him as he, his friends, and the Starlit Guardians fought the Dark Kingdom’s warriors. So, he opted to offer himself instead of the warriors stealing the lives of people. He claimed to know the power source they were using and offered to make it stronger. Queen Metalia leapt at that chance and took him.

A couple weeks passed before Kajiwara would be rescued from Queen Metalia. During that time, he had found the knight. He was encased in ice and looked like he was sleeping. He realized that the knight wasn’t someone else, it was the other half of himself. His soul was calling out to it to reunite with its other half. Kajiwara reunited with it and fell in the same slumber the knight had been in. He called out to his friends and the Starlit Guardians to rescue him and never doubted they could. After he was saved, Kajiwara remembered everything about his past life and recanted it to Fubuki. Much like Princess Serenity and Prince Endymion, so too had Prince Charon and Princess Titania been betrothed. They had also been in a fight against the Dark Kingdom and reincarnated on Earth. Together, he and Fubuki used their power to stop Queen Metalia once and for all.

Demon Group chapter:

• The gang is all together (Starlit Guardians and Kajiwara’s friends)
  • They all get power ups (like the Sailor Guardians did)
  • The Starlit Guardians actually learn how to better fight and defend themselves with help from the Sailor Guardians.
• Kajiwara and Fubuki start dating
• Something happens and another group appears to cause trouble for them
• Unnamed demon powered group
• Basically whisk the Guardians away and force the remaining group to fight a dark version of that Guardian
  • Same happens to Kajiwara and his friends
• Kajiwara gets kidnapped again and his dark half is forced to fight Fubuki (vice versa for him as he’s making his escape)

Nebulas and Roses chapter:

• After the gang recovers from the demon group, another incident happens
• Kajiwara, Fubuki, and everyone decide to go out of the city on a trip. Summer, chance to have some fun, etc.
• They go to the beach and Kajiwara starts seeing young girls dressed in sailor suits and faints from the heat.
• After awakening later, one of the girls he saw was next to him making sure he was all right. Panicked, he asks about her but she patiently answers all his questions.
• He introduces her to Fubuki and everyone shortly after
• That’s when shit hits the fan, a few new enemies appear -- calling themselves the “Nebula Chasers”
• These individuals come from the future -- much like the young girl did -- and are trying to find someone.
• Very Chibi-Usa leaning in the plot and eventually, the group travels into the future to Neo Paris -- where King Charon and Queen Titania reign. Their future selves help Neo Queen Serenity look after the Earth. Unlike Neo Queen Serenity, Charon and Titania are well loved by their people and walk among them as well.
  • Rather they did until the Nebula Chasers appeared and tained Neo Paris in a poisonous cloud.
  • The ones that could fight it off were the Blossom Guardians, however these Guardians weren’t as strong as their older counterparts (the Starlit Guardians) and were sent back in time to learn how to use their powers.
  • Hence Rose Red (the girl Kajiwara meets) being in their current time. She reveals to Kajiwara that he’s her father and that she needs help finding her brother and her friends.
• In the end, Kajiwara doesn’t fight off the Nebula Chasers and leaves it to the Starlit Guardians. Instead he and his friends offer to train the Blossom Guardians to learn how to fight and aid them in their battles.
  • With everyone fighting off the Nebula Chasers, and ending their torment in the future. Peace in Neo Paris is restored and everyone’s sent back to their time.
  • Rose Red and her friends accompany the Starlit Guardians back to their time and look forward to fighting with their role models.
