born from a sword's hilt from the feyrealm, nista is a scholar in the field of arcanic rituals. specifically, rituals associated with summoning higher beings. its desire to seek answers to the inner workings of summoning rituals is a passion of hers, but it had stemmed from her own enigmatic birth. unlike many mortals, nista had neither a mother nor father in her life, nor does she know who gave her life. all it knows is that her origins came from something beyond mortality, beyond the waking realm.

she is... a bit morally grey, pursuing its goals and desires, grasping at anything to get closer to its desired answers, regardless of others' and its own wellbeing. because of this, she rarely shows much in terms of emotion. its speech is factual, and its actions are driven only by the want for results. unfortunately (or fortunately, in nista's eyes), this seclusion to her craft has distanced her from people. as detached as it is from others, nista can't help but feel an aching pain for companionship sometimes.
