Patchi was brought up in a cupid nest but since he was the runt he was often pushed aside and not given love by his caretakers. Since he didn't get enough love in his formative years his growth was stunted (resulting in small wings and weak magic).

He gets infatuated really easily. The number of hearts on his halo shows the level of how in love he is. However, if it gets too many hearts it will become to heavy and break.
