Robbins is lazy, friendly and pretty calm, despite his circumstances. In contrast to the rest of the outlaws, he seems completely disconnected from world around him. He doesn’t seem particularly concerned with the inevitable end of the world or the prospect of death that looms over the remaining survivors. In his eyes, there’s no reason to worry over something that can’t be stopped.

Robbins was the youngest of four children, and was neglected because of that. His parents looked down on him because they thought he would be a failure, especially compared to his siblings who were all overachievers. His parents wanted their children to act as their saviors, people who would correct their poor financial decisions and pull the family out of debt. Robbins didn’t want that. He struggled throughout school until eventually dropping out, much to his parents dismay. Shortly after dropping out he was outed as trans. His parents were very unhappy with the news and implied they would kick him out the minute he turned eighteen. Wanting to take power away from them, he moved out before they could. They never bothered to reach out to him again, and he still has no idea what happened to them.

After leaving home he lived with a few friends a few towns away. They were all unemployed dropouts like him. They made their money off of dealing drugs and stealing things. This didn’t bother Robbins, as he had helped them before a few times. His stay with them was short, everyone knew it would be, since the state of the world was rapidly declining. Some people left, others planted their feet and stayed— most were forced to.

Robbins was forced into the streets once again. His friends were paranoid, fearing that stricter regulations that were enforced on U.S. citizens before the government completely lost control would result in them being found out and punished. They disbanded and vowed to never speak to or about each other again. Similar to his family, he never saw them again. By some miracle, he survived as the weather grew colder and colder. The number of people around decreased quickly; Most left with QFB, while others were killed off by the frigid climate only growing stronger. He was one of the lucky ones. He eventually stumbled across the outlaws, a group of people who were determined to survive in the harsh, unforgiving world that was left to die.
