Yoko Awashima (粟島 陽子, Awashima Yōko) is a former gymnast who is also a childhood friend of Ran Haitani and Rindo Haitani, knowing the brothers since elementary. In the future, she becomes a surgeon.
Yoko is a tall girl with a well-proportioned physique due to being a former gymnast. She has long wavy light blonde hair and hazel eyes to go along with the rest of her appearance. Her hair is put into low pigtails and tied with two blue ribbons, though she is seen weaing her hair in other kinds of hairstyles before aside from this one, this is her go-to hairdo.
In the future, she cuts her hair short until the length of her shoulders. Yoko also has gotten an orchid and bellflower tattoo on the center of her back at some point of time because those flowers indicate the meaning of the brother's names.
Yoko is known to project a cheerful and mature aura around herself and is soft spoken. She is also shown to stay calm and collected despite whatever situation it might be. She has a hardworking personality probably in result of being the oldest in her family and having to take care of her younger siblings whenever their parent's aren't around. She is someone who highly cherishes her relationships and will look out for her loved ones to the extent of her friend's noting that she is like a 'mother'.

Yoko is exceptionally talented in gymnastics and has participated in nationals before. She appears to be quite flexible being on par with Rindo's flexibility.

They went to the same elementary school resulting in the reason to how they had met and developed a relationship since back then. He was the first to meet Yoko first and was shy and hesitant with her at first but opened up to her later on during their years of friendship. Their relationship only strengthened throughout the years and never faltered even after the brothers had been arrested and went to juvie.
Yoko loves the two brothers dearly and is always there to look out and care for them at all times. Along with Ran, he had promised to stay with her and be together forever, which ended up with Yoko being married to them in the future as shown in the Bonten Timeline.

He got to know Yoko after he approached her when seeing her spending time together with his brother one day. With Remi being the youngest Haitani sibling, she probably met Yoko through her older brothers and got to know her whenever she had visited their house to hang out together. Yoko is exactly like an older sister to Remi and that has the younger Haitani being protective over her. The two would have study sessions with Yoko trying to help Remi with her studies but it always results in the younger one bailing and her brothers dragging her back for their sake of escaping Yoko's study sessions themselves.
They went to the same middle-school. Yoko knows of Akina since she was a well known sukeban in the area even though the later doesn't seem to know about Yoko's existence. They only had one face-to-face encounter when Akina saved Yoko from some delinquents who were hitting on her. Though Akina does not remember her from the event, Yoko will never forget Akina for helping her during that situation and feels grateful to her for stepping in.
Yoko and Yozora met when they were young kids, being in the same elementary. They grew to have a close relationship and kept it in the future despite them going in seperate ways, often making effort to interact with each other often. Due to Yozora's change in psychology, she began to grow protective towards Yoko.
