was exiled from his village after covertly seeking out a lunar sorcerer to alleviate his increasingly severe dysphoria--upon returning home with a new body, he was violently rejected for violating their taboos against sorcery despite the fact that not doing so would have killed him. after wandering the wilderness on the verge of death, was approached by a demon and offered the gift of exaltation. he took it with both hands, becoming an Ascendant Infernal
He... did not take his exile well. He buries his pain and severe depression in drugs, parties and other displays of lavish hedonism, and when the emotions he's avoiding surface, they tend to do so violently. He's... worryingly attached to Ligier; the demon did not seek him out directly, but was the first he found that was both willing and able to answer his questions, and he lacks the occult knowledge and skepticism to realize what is being left out of Ligier's side of the story. Ligier additionally tolerates his presence, which Monsoon has taken as a sign of affection in the depths of his loneliness.
The form given to him by the No Moon sorcerer has very little in common with the one he was born with, which suits him just fine. He is lean, tall, broad-shouldered in a bony way, with a messy, shoulder-length mop of [color] hair. The most notable remnant of his old body is that he is downright doe-eyed, his eyes a soft and dark brown, and his face is generally rather soft compared to his body's hard angles. His skin is a warm light brown, and is notably darker in places exposed to the sun.
