Koharu is a young mysterious girl, which once lived in Tsukiyomi Village on the Hidden Island of Inazuma. She is a gentle and kind person, but with a dark backstory. She was part of the Chishio, a group that is specialized in assassination and protecting the head family in the Shadows. Her paternal grandfather, who is the current leader of their tribe, build this organization to protect the main family.
Koharu never told anyone from where she was from or anything about her family. Koharu left her family for reasons, which are still unknown.
She met Xiao by coincidence. He protected the guests of the Wangshu Inn, which were attacked by monsters. Koharu was saving a small girl from an attack as suddenly Xiao appeared and killed the monster in front of them. The boss of the inn tells her a bit about him and that he is an Adepti and normally dislikes humans but stays in the Inn.
