IMG_7053.jpgIMG_7050.JPGA magical species of plasma that presents itself when sparked with a charmed quartz flint lighter. Their flames are mysteriously cold, only about 130°F. Behavior between each quartz's flame is nearly identical- unless placed in a candle within a glass or metal jar. They seem frustrated until escaping from the container, on some occasions breaking the glass. Quartz's flames are very energetic at first, but then consume the entirety of the wick and wax until they become sluggish and fizzle out. One flame can be transferred to another candle, and the new quartz's flame retains the knowledge from the one it was copied from, technically allowing it to live forever with enough attention and maintenance.
