Cronan was a normal man, had a normal life and worked at the cemetery for long nights and arrived home quite early. At those times he already met his beloved and married her, both just adored eachother and were happy together. Since were he lived not much tragic stuff happened and most people from his town only passed away from old age so he could just leave whenever he wished to spend time with his wife or do something else. There was one day odd plagues stormed his town, unfortunately Cronan was infected but at first he didn't show any symptoms, that's how It starts then It develops drastically, medicines that the doctors suggested or herbs his wife collected to try make him feel better didn't work at all. The disease was a kind of virus(?) that affected your lungs and heart so he was suggested to make a surgery and since he didn't have much of a choice and his wife had suggested him to do It Cronan couldn't say no. The procedure was successful, he was stable but not fully healed, of course. But he could still go to work-- since people kind of needed him now with so many people dying to that disease. Cronan couldn't manage to stabilise himself, falling ill once more and nothing else could be done, he died in his bed with his wife holding his hand and trying to heal him. Since his wife felt terribly guilty to suggest him the surgery that messed up with his immunity again she felt determinant to at least bring him back by any procedures, we are speaking about Notes for your Thirst so of course she went for some heavy types of magic from witches to try bring him back, and she did! But he came back as a kind of zombie, his skin looked more pale and cold to the touch, his eyes very deep with dark circles and still with a very skinny type of body that just felt quite- unhealthy, yeah, he basically looked dead and all wrong but It was still him! She probably had Dulcia a few months later before Cronan died and now Cronan will forever be known as The Gravedigger.
