Ash is a grey fennec.  She has bright red, blue, and black full body tattoos, and is unusually tall for her species.

She is neurodivergent w/ ADHD and ASD.

Ash is alloaromanric and omnisexual.

They are female and identify as androgyne.  She uses and accepts any pronouns, but biases toward she/they.

Ash's MBTI is ISTJ.

She is pretty easygoing but struggles with anxiety and self esteem.

Ash's favorite color is red, followed by twilight blue.  She loves pizza and 90's alternative music, electronica, and Weird Al.

Though Ash initially loved school, they started to struggle near third grade. Though they excelled in subjects that interested them (science and art), but struggled with math and writing. Over the next few years they got labeled as a difficult student, both for their behavior and academic struggles.

Ash’s parents never sought any evaluation for them (believed ADHD was an excuse to keep boys from acting like normal boys, and Ash “clearly wasn’t autistic”), believed children should be seen and not heard, and heavily disciplined any departure from their idea of an obedient, well behaved child.

Middle school for them was hell, socially and academically. Lot more here but suffice to say that by the time they started high school they were socially mostly isolated with just a couple friends, and academically… apart from their continued enthusiasm for art and science, they struggled to maintain even a 2.5 gpa.

Ash dropped out in their senior year… there was no way they could graduate with their standing, and there was no way they were going through another year of this hell.

Ash struggled to maintain a job afterwards through a combination of forgetfulness and clashing with their bosses.

When Ash turned 20 their parents kicked them out, angry that they were not getting their GED and struggling to maintain a job, and that the money they did have they used to get their now distinctive blue and red pelt tattoos. Ashes parents believed tattoos were “wrong”.

At this point Ash was also struggling with persistent anxiety and depression.

For the summer of their birthday they were homeless in their hometown of Altoona, PA, working at a Pizza restaurant and sleeping in a hammock in an abandoned and partly flooded pedestrian tunnel under the 10th Ave entrance to 17th St.

They managed to hold the job, but we’re also sick frequently.

When they weren’t working Ash spent most of their remaining hours in the Altoona Public Library… free wi-fi and shelter from the elements. In addition to drawing they spent their time chatting online with a friend, they met on Twitter, Citron, who had liked and commented on her art early the summer before.

Citron eventually finds out Ash is homeless (not something they wanted Citron to know out of shame) and without options.  She offers to take Ash in.

Ash, after initially refusing decides to go, the fear of winter and her friendship with Citron motivating them.  They saved the $200 they needed for the trip and two weeks later meets Citron in North Conway… Friday 14Sep19.

They have been inseparable since and Ash has been living with Citron in her place in Berlin, NH.

Over the past year Citron helped Ash get her GED, and with that Ash was able to start working as a cable locator as she (Citron) continues apprenticing with Nipsey.

Citron and Ash's friendship grew closer throughout 2020 and on the 13th of March, 2021 they got married.  They are monogamous.
