1920-1923

The Mechanical Engineered Organism project [M.E.O] was a military funded program founded with the idea of creating fully functioning humanoid bioweapons for the U.S military. The project officially began in 1920, and the first generation of organisms were created in 1923. One organism in this project would be labeled MEO-9. After a significant number of failed trials within this generation, the M.E.O project was dumped due to the unreliable technology used in their creation. Any surviving organisms from the early tests were sent to qualified families who could afford the support needed to keep the first gen organisms alive. MEO-9 would be adopted by the Morgan family, and later given the name Damian. Most of these organisms would not live long.

1924-1942

Damian would be taken in by a couple named Everest Morgan and Abigail Morgan. Everest was a well-established structural engineer, while Abigail would be Damian's primary caretaker. Malfunctions were frequent in Damian, meaning doctors and mechanics appointed by those who oversaw the M.E.O project frequently visited their estate to ensure Damian's good health. These malfunctions most often effected the cardiovascular and nervous system, and if left untreated could quickly kill him. Damian would be homeschooled for his own safety.
