A full blooded Saiyan, Saya was born years before Vegeta was destroyed. Her greatest achievement has been updating Freizas Scouters for rogue usage.

Youth

Saya was born to an elite father and second class mother during Age 721. Her birth ended up being not welcomed as her organs were found to be weaker than normal and she was labeled second class. Her father, wanting a strong son, blamed his wife for the defects and lower power levels but her mother had none of it. Saya's mother nurtured her but also urged her to forego childhood tendencies and become a Saiyan capable of being an elite warrior like her father to prove him wrong. Saya, not realizing her mother was pushing her desires onto her daughter, obliged. Yet during her early years, her mother supported her scientific curiosity. She encouraged her daughter to pursue her mild interests thinking Saya would either grow out of it and take training seriously or it would benefit her in the future. Despite the tumultuous beginnings, Saya and her mother grew close. Saya relied heavily on her mothers guidance as she felt completely abandoned by her father.

Saya was born during the time of the Saiyan-Tuffle War and at age 7, her mother died--two years shy of the war being over. She was devastated to lose the one person she was close to but her father was quick to take up a new first class mate. Their relationship became more strained at this point. Saya began leaving home more frequently to avoid her father as it felt more like living with a stranger than a parent. Once the Saiyan-Tuffle War was over, her father was formally inducted into the new King's elite army and he began sending her off to some of the worst solo missions a young Saiyan could handle. Half the time she would return half dead with the other half unscathed--both of which angered her father since she kept returning alive. Saya would use the missions to improve her strength, stealth and inventions in order to engage or avoid combat. During Age 735, her father and step mother welcomed a new son who's level ranged in first class. Saya was quickly forgotten over her new brother.

During a mission at the edge of the South Universe in Age 737, she got wind that Planet Vegeta had been destroyed. The scouter she had been experimenting on picked up bits and pieces of conversations from nearby Frieza forces about Friezas plans. Abandoning her mission, she took quick refuge on Konats, attempting to make contact with her planet. After 3 days of constant attempts, she fled South Universe and went into hiding. She spent the next 20 years attempting to find other Saiyan survivors who had also foregone the original orders to return to Vegeta in 737.

Adult

Age 757, Saya made her way to Planet Frost. Fueled by depression and curiosity, she was willing to endanger herself just to test if her adjusted scouter worked. Working years on it, the new scouter was able to make the wearer untraceable, read exceedingly high power levels and shut off safely to protect the wearer and itself if levels were too high. It had the capability of detecting levels at greater distances than current models, alert the wearer to territories under Friezas control and most importantly, functioned as a mini computer cracker. It was able to break into hard coded computers for data and store info into its banks without detection. Lastly, it constantly scanned the area ahead for the wearer, pointing out quick or risky exits so the user could potentially avoid combat if needed. Saya was eager to test it in the last place she ever wanted to go, thinking if she could avoid detection on the Frost planet, she could avoid Frieza's men in the future on other planets.

It would have all worked out well had she not chosen to land on the worst spot in the planet. Saya accidentally landed in a snow covered area where the temperatures were in extreme freezing range. Not wanting to leave her ship behind, stayed within the ship until the conditions eventually started making her disoriented and confused. Saya began wandering, realizing her choices were slim as her ships engines hade frozen over. Unable to call for nearby help for fear of being found, Saya was ready to accept her death until Polara came by. Not affected by the cold, Polara was stunned to find someone wandering in the dangerous weather. Polara offered to help her escape the Frost planet if Saya took them with her. Hesitant but realizing the situation, Saya agreed.

Saya was quick to find out about Polaras healing abilities so her frost injuries were healed within minutes. But Saya wasn't quick to offer her trust to the frost demon. Unbeknownst to Saya, Polaras healing abilities did not just cover physical and internal but tip toed into mental as well. Polara realized Saya's traditional Saiyan habits differed from her mental state which circled around paranoia, depression and insomnia--all of which they figured was the results of the destruction of her home planet. After being nearly abandoned numerous times on different planets by Saya, Polara confronted her about her deep rooted problems and unhealthy patterns. Saya had been hard pressed to be open about things she didn't see as problems but eventually realized her future survival possibly relied on breaking the cycle she had lived in for years. Accepting Polaras help, they opted to also combine their skills to create new tech in the fields of health and science.

After hearing stories and rumors of a blue planet being protected by a powerful Saiyan, Saya and Polara arrive on Earth in the fall of Age 767 with the hope that they'll be accepted as peaceful visitors.

• Heard rumors of a Saiyan ascending to Super Saiyan and destroying Frieza. Eventually becomes SSJ herself after Polara is supposedly killed.
• Has a drunken dream of ascending to SSJ4 after drinking strong alcohol from the North Galaxy.
• Despite being one of the last female Saiyans, she's unable to conceive. Her reproductive organs are too weak to actually function and a pregnancy would result in a slim to none chance of the child surviving.
