Lucy Satine

Lucy grew up in a small American south-west adjacent rural town in the Nation of Georgia. Lucy was an especially bright kid with a love of reading a logical mind, and a deep interest in music. His mother taught him to play the fiddle as soon as he was old enough to handle it. Lucy, his mother, and his older sister, Lilith, lived together until he was about 10. That year, his mother died of a terminal illness and Lucy and Lilith were forced to move in with their estranged father. Lucy transitioned from an early age, learning pretty much from the time he was 12 that he wanted to go by he/him pronouns and began his transition shortly after. He and his sister, a transwoman, went through their transitions in private but confided in each other. Lucy chose not to change his birthname, only shorten it to Lucy to honor his mother. When Lucy was 16 and Lilith was 18, his sister left home. She ran off with her pregnant girlfriend, Evelyn, breaking Lucy's heart and leaving him alone with his emotionally distant father.

When Lucy reached adulthood, he travelled from town to town, leaving his old life behind. While away, Lucy looked for work, bouncing between jobs for many years. Although he was never particularly bad at any one job, Lucy had trouble finding his passion and it began to wear on him. He turned to gambling to give him mind something to do when he wasn't mindlessly trudging through the work day. On one such night of gambling led to Lucy recieving his most prized posession: the golden fiddle. Lucy got into many a brawl for counting cards and, since he isn's particularly physically strong, lost many a fight. One such fight ended in Lucy breaking his left horn. After the fight ended and the gathered crowd had cleared, a man stood over Lucy and helped him get patched up. The man was Johnny, and this act of kindness at his lowest point stayed with Lucy for a long time. Johnny and Lucy ended up dating through Lucy's mid-late 20s, but the pair ended on bad terms. Although Lucy had stopped gambling towards the beginning of their relationship, the urge eventually returned full force and Lucy began to gamble more than ever before. He would play his fiddle in the streets with Johnny for cash during the day, and gamble it all away before the next morning. Johnny and Lucy struggled by with their lack of income and Johnny begged Lucy to sell his golden fiddle to sustain them. Unable to part with it easily, Lucy offered a challenge: outplay me and the fiddle is yours. The pair played in the streets like they always did, but on this day, they asked the crowd to declare a victor. Johnny had won. Lucy laid the fiddle on the ground before him and sneered. He left Johnny that day and didn't return to their Georgian home.

Lucy now travels with a group of outlaws: Boomin Shatterjaw, a barbarain dwarf who may of may not have caused "The Great Massacre" leading to the near extinction of the dwarven race, Zorkul Thea, an elven monk who left his monestary after his master died of mysterious circumstances, Butts Seymour, an elven ranger with a certain misunderstanding of deer and their ability to preform arson, and Angus Blaze, a human fighter who doubles as a drunken cowboy just trying to learn how to read. Lucy was arrested with this crew for causing a bar fight and carted off into the desert to be taken to jail. The cart never reached its destination, leaving him and the group stranded in the desert Town of Grumm in the midst of a drought. Lucy now travels with his friends on a ton of misadventures, hoping one day to gamble his way into enough money to use to challenge Johnny again, and get his golden fiddle back.

Lucy is a tiefling with bright red skin and yellow sclera. His eyes and slicked back hair are both black. His teeth are sharp and he has a bit of stubble on his face. He dresses formally in a brown suit, brown vest, and yellow dress shirt. He has a pair of gold, square glasses to which he has attatched a gold glasses chain. He wears a bolo tie with a bright blue stone in the middle that was a gift from Johnny during their time together. His tail is red at its base and transitions into a black spade shape at its tip.
