Story
Background
Dalaer Firahel was born into the country of Aerenal around 200 years ago. He spent the time mainly practising his spells and aiding his fellow elves where it was needed. He is rather curious, with a thirst for knowledge usually sated by the records of his ancestors' lives. Once he received something that can only be described as a call by the ancestors of the Undying Court, he set off to Sharn on the first ship from the ports of Pylas Talaear.
The only thing he left behind was a rather cryptic letter to his family, ensuring them that he is and will be okay, but that he must go for the reasons he cannot divulge.
His parents are still in Pylas Talaear, to his knowledge.
Arrival to Sharn
For the first time in his life, he had to use traditional methods of transportation. The train he boarded, headed to Sharn, got attacked by House Tarkanan - a group of aberrant dragonmarked - and that is where he met his current companions, Gallen d'Cannith and Garrick Donovan.

Trivia
Personality
While he is 213 years old, he is but a young adult in elven eyes. His carefree attitude and thirst for adventure are his main driving forces; and he does not let anything stop him from getting what he wants. He is particularly infatuated with the unknown, but he still wants to ensure the traditions of the Undying Court are upheld; so messing with anything related to the plane of Mabar is not even an option in his mind.
The type of person to smile and nod while the other person tells them their life story and they feel like they are best friends now, but when the talker leaves he realizes that he knows nothing about Dalaer.Notes
- Aerenal is his home. Never returning to it would ruin him.
- As a child, he had quite a temper due to him being coddled for being gifted. That's how he ended up with an angry sister and a broken nose.
- He is quite flamboyant, managing to stand out even though his clothes are always just black with golden details; either due to their tailoring or the way he wears them.
- While he does not cover his face with traditional half-skull paint, he does use makeup. Liberally.
