Once happily living his life as a normal wild rabbit living in his warren, that all changed when some toxic radioactive waste was dumped near it. Being curious animals, they sniffed and licked up the substance, wondering what it was. He and his fellow rabbits then violently and painfully mutated into undead abominations, their skeleton changing shape and bones piercing their skin. In their panic and pain, they then ran off in different directions, wandering the world as seperated individuals. Being in pain most of the time makes Grim and his fellow mutants extremely aggressive. Their blood is toxic and corrosive and their bodies are radioactive. Bites and scratches of these creatures can cause the victim to mutate themselves, be it benificially or lethal. Grim's mutations has rendered him infertile and many of his fellow mutants are infertile as well. Grim, being in a constant state of pain, fear and aggression causes him to lash out at anyone who tries to approach him though his trust was recently won by Zack as he showed kindness to him even after he slashed his arm. Zack often feeds Grim scraps and tries his best to make sure he stays out of harms way. He has even managed to carefully and gently pet Grim, who has found out he likes the rubs as it distracts him from the pain. Still, unless Zack tells him another person is safe and won't hurt him, he will attack said person. Before Zack found him, he was captured and experimented on by Cutter, the creepy bug dragon. It was actually Zack who freed him from Cutter's clutches, something Grim is eternally grateful for.
