Description

Nicodemus, better known as Crow, is a selective mute blood knight to the lust king. He is hopelessly in love with his king and will protect him at all costs, even though he know his feeling will never be reciprocated. He has trained three apprentices Falcon, Felix and Popobawa.

He is a slender and pale lust demon with jet black feathers. He has long straight hair. His eyes are sharp, the left iris being a reddish colour while his right iris is orange-yellow. He has a red ruby attached to his forehead. His horns are brown, long and slender adorned with golden jewellery connected by a chain. Most of Crow's torso, neck and arms are covered in black feathers. He can fluff up his neck feathers during cold seasons. Being a lust demon his lower body is that of a bird.

Personality

As a child that suffers from selective mutism Crow is extremely shy, timid and anxious in social situations. He does not speak unless he is within the castle walls, and even then he seldom starts conversations. He will only reply with "yes" and "no" to strangers. To people he is familiar with he is able to communicate with with short sentences. He is able to have normal, fully functional conversations with a select few people he trusts. He will still not speak to them outside of the castle, however he will whisper to his trusted ones. Despite his shyness and anxiety he appears rather carefree and has no problem with eye contact, which makes him appear stand off-ish to strangers(as he has a resting bitch face). Crow is extremely dedicated to his king, king Ashmedai. He will spend all of his time by his king's side, patrolling the immediate area to make sure everything is safe or training his apprentices(to protect the king). Because of this he only takes time off if he is encouraged to by his king. Crow's love for his king is very pure in the sense that he does not wish to be in a relationship with him but simply wants him to be happy and safe. He loves Ashmedai so much that the mere thought of him being hurt in any way would drive him insane. Before meeting king Ashmedai and falling in love Crow was a free spirit who lived a somewhat nomadic lifestyle. Though his life lacked meaning which left him feeling depressed most of his "youth". He doesn't have many independent thoughts and opinions of his own. Rather, he simply follows whatever ideals king Ashmedai has, and anyone who does not agree with them will feel Crow's wrath. His loyalty lies only with his king. He would without a second thought destroy the whole kingdom if it meant keeping Ashmedai safe, so he obviously doesn't bother forming other meaningful relationships.

Background

Crow was born around the time Ashmedai had defeated king Theodore and taken the crown. He met Falcon at a young age and the two starting hunting and training together. Eventually the two decided to join the knight academy for lust and wrath demons(at the time). Some time after arriving at the academy Crow met and fell in love with the new king of lust, Ashemdai. Crow was only capable of communicating through Falcon by whispering into his ear. Needless to say he had formed no relationships with his peers or captains. Regardless of his lack of a social life he proceeded to excel in his training as a knight, which did not go unnoticed. During his second year as an apprentice he was appointed to become the new blood knight, the highest ranked knight in the kingdom and the king's personal bodyguard. Since then Crow dedicated his life to protecting his king.

Two years later Falcon had graduated the academy and became a knight, Crow started training him to become a the next blood knight after him. Though the training strained their relationship Crow's only goal was now to protect king Ashmedai. Eventually what was left of their friendship was burned down as Crow struck down Falcon after the latter had spoken out against Crow's beloved king. Crow took in two other apprentices, both showing more loyalty to the kingdom than their predecessor.
