a detached and uninterested tomcat sporting a spotted pelt and a gnarly belly scar, prairiegaze is not the most popular cat in canyonclan, but they couldn't give less of a shit about that. with no living family, no current ambition and no zest for life, he spends his days avoiding his former best friend and trying to avoid making any new ones.

they were close when they were apprentices. she helped him out of his shell and he let her be her true self around him. after losing his father and half of his guts, prairie acted unkindly to her and she to him, and so they don't talk anymore.
redleaf [ father ]
prairiegaze never thought it was lame to have his father be one of his closest friends. a gentle and caring individual, redleaf's true home was the monarch's den, but a raging war dissuaded him from making the change. perhaps if he had, he wouldn't have been at the battle that took his life.
littleshade [ mentor ]
a cat who mentored one too many apprentices and lost her love for it. she was never unkind to prairiepaw, but she never showed any particular interest in him, either. she certainly didn't instill in him a love for his clan. they never had a conversation outside of training.
