From an early age, Nova Glow was scared of the dark. One night her family took her out to see the night sky and she saw a shooting star fly by. She wanted to no longer be scared of the dark, and wished on it. She got her cutie mark that night, which allows her mane and tail to glow and also gives her night vision.
