Summary

Valerian Cookie came to be from a simple mix of valerian flowers and dough and perfectly baked. He would live a fairly average life as a very sweet and caring cookie who would come to find that he seemed naturally skilled in tending to cookies who were hurt. Because he already had such a caring nature, Valerian thought it would be best to become a doctor and help those in need, and he did.

During the course of his career, Valerian would meet many cookies of different doughs and ingredients, but he would befriend a particular excitable cookie who seemed to be a frequent patient. It wasn’t odd for Valerian to have patients like this one, but this cookie was different. They would tell Valerian about their many adventures and would always be greeting Valerian with a smile as he would tend to their injuries. The pair would share many laughs and chatter away as Valerian didn’t seem to take too much notice of how more wreckless the cookie was becoming until it was too late.

Valerian noticed that his friend wasn’t coming to his office like usual and at first he thought that maybe they were on a long trip or maybe they’re managing to take of themself. But he started to worry as the days would go by until Valerian decided he had to get to the bottom of this. He would question other adventurous cookies like his friend if they knew of them and where they were which would result in him finding out the tragic news that during an expedition his friend would get into a horrible accident resulting in them being crumbled to pieces with no chance of coming back.

This news of course would hit Valerian hard, and it seemed to change him much more as he would start to lose sleep and would seem more down compared to his usual cheerful demeanor. And his mood seemed to be much more harsh at times when he would get patients who were adventurers or just plain wreckless which came as a shock to other staff who never saw him like this. It got to a point that some of his colleagues thought it was best he would be transferred to a small clinic in a smaller town as it seemed that things were too much for him and he needed to get a hold of himself.

Valerian wasn’t against this as he even noticed that he was a different cookie now, but he still had that need inside to help others when they’re hurt so he didn’t want to quit the career he worked for. So packing his things and moving to a much smaller and seemingly peaceful town, he would work at the new clinic and try to better himself. The only problem is he was unintentionally transferred to a place that was fairly popular with adventurers so it’s going to be a long and not so easy progress.
