She's always been an outcast ever since she started school, and this was something that made her slightly bitter about life.
She never really liked attention that much in the past, but did wonder what it would be like to have people noticing her a lot, and so she took on her alias as Desira as a test. When she realised that it could help her get what she wanted, she started to be her alias of Desira a lot more, though sometimes goes around as her more childish side as Amelia sometimes. It might be the charm on her necklace that gives her the powers she has.

Also, she's blind, but she'd never tell anyone.
