cleric (forge domain) - main class - lvl 1-19 | barbarian - secondary class - lvl 1 (almost exclusively for the rage feature)

worships gond, god of craft

father is half-orc who dreamed of being scholar/sage, mother is ranger-esque former-explorer. her father was born in an orcish tribe but fled due to dislike of violence and desire to learn. he opened a blacksmith shop to make enough money to journey on and become a scholar, but he never made enough money to secure that route. when he and his wife had shae (and maybe other children?) they knew that the money for him to be a scholar would likely always be too far from their grasp

they live in a big city (such as baldur's gate, neverwinter, etc.)

shae isn't insanely devout (nor is her background acolyte, but rather, guild artisan), but she and her family attend local church meetings. piety helps the half-orcs to gain more acceptance in their largely-human society, but shae and her family follow and worship the human pantheon, and not the orcish pantheon. they do their best to never mention gruumsh

shae has an appetite to suit her orcish body (as orcs are made for extreme physicality and have high calorie demands to keep said lifestyle functional). however, shae lives a very comfortable life and doesn't have to work very much, so she often ears far more calories than she needs. as such, shae is overweight, though she has plenty of muscle under the surface, too.

shae learned her craft from her father, and is a master blacksmith in her own right. shae likes cutesy, sweet aesthetics, and even though she doesn't think such an aesthetic suits her, she loves it so much that she often dresses very feminine anyway. she can make and customize her own armor, and often does so with motifs of hearts, butterflies, and other cute things
